The global plastics industry event has kicked off, with Hujiang Materials showcasing its core technologies at K 2025 in Germany.
On October 8, 2025, the triennial K Fair—Germany’s International Trade Fair for Plastics and Rubber—officially opened at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre. Dubbed the “Olympic Games” of the global plastics and rubber industries, the event will run through October 15.

The K Show in Germany—the International Exhibition for Plastics and Rubber held in Düsseldorf—is a highly respected, industry‑wide professional trade platform. The “K” in the exhibition’s name derives from the German words “Kunststoff” (plastics) and “Kautschuk” (rubber). Since its inaugural edition in 1952, the event has been staged every three years.
The 2025 edition of the trade fair marks its 23rd iteration. Germany’s K Fair offers a comprehensive showcase of the industry’s high‑level value chain, making it one of the world’s most concentrated platforms for cutting‑edge innovations and the richest in new product launches, spanning numerous key segments of the plastics and rubber sectors. Key exhibits include technologies for plastic processing, reprocessing, and recycling, alongside groundbreaking advances in semi‑finished products and technical components, as well as a wide array of raw and auxiliary materials such as thermoplastics, elastomers, resins, composites, and intermediate products. In addition, participating companies will present their offerings and solutions in related fields, including IT services and plastic‑production leasing. Representatives from research institutions and the consulting sector will also be on hand, providing expert insights and support to advance sustainable development in the plastics industry.

As a benchmark company in the new‑energy materials sector of the Beijing Stock Exchange, Nanjing Hujiang Composite Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Hujiang Materials”) showcased its full range of high‑barrier films at the exhibition, joining global peers in exploring the industry’s future under the theme “The Power of Plastics: Green, Smart, and Responsible.”
