High-barrier specialty pouches/multi-layer co-extrusion
High-barrier films are produced by co-extruding materials with excellent gas barrier properties with polyolefins that offer superior heat sealability and moisture resistance, resulting in multilayer structures. Using high-barrier films prevents microbial growth caused by the permeation of gases such as oxygen, inhibits oxidation of contents due to oxygen ingress, and prevents the loss of aromas, solvents, and other volatile substances, thereby enhancing the shelf life of the packaged product. These films also effectively block moisture from entering the package, keeping the contents dry and preventing spoilage. Materials: aluminum‑plastic composites, PP/PE co‑extrusions, PA/PE co‑extrusions, PE/EVOH co‑extrusions—offering a wide variety of options for diverse applications. Styles: custom‑designed to meet specific customer requirements, available in virtually any shape or configuration. Specifications: tailored to individual dimensions and size preferences. Bond strength: >30 N/15 mm. Edge tensile strength: >60 N/15 mm. Applications: suitable for vacuum and general packaging of chemical (intermediate) raw materials such as silane‑crosslinked polyethylene, nylon, PET, as well as pharmaceutical intermediates, food and beverages, high‑purity metals, precision machinery, large equipment, cutting‑edge products, electronic components, and more. Advantages: antistatic properties; capable of vacuum sealing; light‑ and oxygen‑barrier; waterproof and moisture‑proof; resistant to volatilization; high tensile strength; strong heat‑seal integrity; excellent flexibility; and premium, elegant packaging.
