Product Features:
1. High gloss, excellent oxygen and water vapor barrier properties, and resistance to boiling as well as to acidic and alkaline contents;
2. As a substitute for traditional aluminum foil barrier layers, the metallized coating effectively blocks oxygen, moisture, and light. Although its overall barrier performance is slightly lower than that of aluminum foil, it can still meet the required barrier standards in many non‑extreme‑requirement applications. Moreover, the MDOPE substrate’s tensile strength and puncture resistance help offset the brittleness of the metallized layer, making it less prone to pinholes or fractures caused by bending, unlike aluminum foil.
3. Lightweight design and cost advantages: the 15-μm aluminum‑coated MDOPE is lighter than 7-μm aluminum foil, with lower raw material and processing costs, thereby contributing to cost optimization.
