Aluminum-plastic composite bag
Currently, ton bags used for packaging 500 kg to 1,000 kg of powders, granules, and viscous materials often exhibit severe bulging in the middle after loading, taking on a “waist‑drum” shape. This significantly increases the space they occupy, resulting in a large discrepancy between their theoretical volume and the actual space they consume. Consequently, this severely hampers the efficient stowage of goods within shipping containers, complicates stacking and transportation, substantially raises logistics costs, and is incompatible with mechanized conveyor‑line handling. Reinforced ton bags—made of aluminum‑plastic or PE—are also known as fitted inner bags. These bags effectively prevent the characteristic “waist‑drum” deformation that occurs when filled with bulk materials.

Aluminum-plastic composite bag

Currently, ton bags used for handling 500–1,000 kg of powders, granules, and viscous materials tend to develop a pronounced central bulge—resembling a “waist drum”—after being filled. This deformation significantly increases the bag’s footprint, resulting in a substantial discrepancy between its theoretical volume and the actual space it occupies. Consequently, this severely hampers the efficient stowage of goods within shipping containers, complicates stacking and transportation, drives up logistics costs, and poses challenges for mechanized conveyor‑line handling.
Reinforced ton bags (aluminum‑plastic or PE bulk bags), also known as fitted inner bags, effectively prevent the “barreling” effect that can occur when loaded with materials, facilitating stacking and transportation. These reinforced ton bags comprise a bag body equipped with an inlet and an outlet; inside the bag, reinforcing ribs are installed to counteract mid‑section bulging after loading. Each of the four corners of the bag body features a reinforcing rib, with both ends of the rib attached to the bag fabric on either side of the corner. The ribs are perforated with multiple discharge holes to allow material to flow into the bag’s corner areas.
The reinforced‑gusset ton bag incorporates internal gussets, effectively preventing deformation and eliminating the common issue of mid‑bag bulging after loading. As a result, the loaded bag maintains a neat, compact shape within the container, occupying less space and enabling higher cargo density, thereby reducing logistics costs.
